Classic Hepplewhite style mahogany side chair with an upholstered shieldback and seat in antique chestnut leather, the slender cabriole legs and seat rail with shallow carved rococo details of shells and leaves. The foot is enhanced with a finely carved sabot. After an original of c.1770.
